Chairman of the Board - Rusi Kathoke
Mr. Kathoke, who is a Chartered Accountant, was the Chief Financial Officer of BTG plc
between 1986 and 2005. BTG, which is listed on the London Stock Exchange, acquires
rights to early stage pharmaceuticals and other medical technologies, and develops them
through to commercialisation. Mr. Kathoke was responsible for negotiating BTG’s MBO
in 1992, for managing its subsequent listing on the London Stock Exchange in 1995,
demerging and listing its subsidiary in 1998 and raising further funds from institutional
investors. Mr. Kathoke is also currently non executive director of XTL Biopharmaceuticals
Ltd, an Israeli company which specialises in the acquisition, development and commercialisation
of pharmaceutical products for the treatment of infectious diseases, particularly the
prevention of Hepatitis B and C.
Non-Executive Director – Dr. H. Laurence Shaw, MD
Dr Shaw is currently the president of Human Life Sciences, an international consulting company
that specialises in health care and the life sciences. Dr. Shaw was the Corporate Vice President
of Research and Development for C.R. Bard, a multinational medical device company.
Previously, he was the VP of Abbott Laboratories responsible for advanced research as well
as medical and regulatory affairs in its $2 billion revenue Hospital Products Division. Before
joining Abbott, Dr. Shaw was both a board member and Director of Medical &Technical
Affairs for Revlon Health Care at its European subsidiary.
Non-Executive Director – Prof. Martin Rothman, MB, ChB, FRCP
Pr. Rothman is a consultant cardiologist and Director of Cardiac Research and Development
at Barts and The London NHS Trust. He is Honorary Professor of Interventional Cardiology
and Co-Director of the Department of Cardiac, Vascular and Inflammatory Research at the
William Harvey Research Institute, Medical and Dental School, Queen Mary, University of
London. Pr. Rothman is Chairman of Astron Clinica Limited (skin cancer diagnostic systems),
of HD Clinical Limited (medical software solutions) and Site Specific Therapies Limited (innovative
devices for medical applications). He is also a Director of Lombard Medical Technologies PLC,
and he founded and was Chief Executive of Intravascular Research Limited (invasive (class
III) medical device for imaging within human coronary arteries).
Founder - CEO - Dan Touitou, B.Pharm, MBA
Dan Touitou founded NTT in January 2003 with Mr Yitzhak Turkeltaub. Between 1997 and
2003 Mr. Touitou served as Assistant Director General in Nutraceuticals Research Group
Ltd (NRG) where he was responsible for strategic planning and R&D for new products from
conception to marketing. During the years 1998-2002, Mr. Touitou was responsible for the
introduction of 15 innovative cosmetic, nutraceutical & OTC products to the Israeli market,
which gained over 30% of shares in their respective markets. He was involved in forming
joint operations between NRG and the pharmaceutical conglomerate Agis. Between 1994
and 1997, Mr. Touitou served as corporate Marketing Manager at Homegalile laboratories.
He has extensive experience in international negotiations, contract manufacturing, outsourcing,
marketing, import, brand-building and regulatory affairs.
Founder - President & Business Affairs Director - Yitzhak Turkeltaub, MBA
Yitzhak Turkeltaub is a co-founder of NTT and served since 2003 as the Chairman of the
Board of Directors until recently stepping down from that position in favour of the current
Chairman. Mr. Turkeltaub has been involved as a founder and active director in several
international companies in the fields of high-tech, communication and life science. Mr.
Yitzhak Turkeltaub has MBA degree in international marketing from Harvard Business
School. For the last 7 years Mr. Turkeltaub has served as the CEO of the Israeli Eden Group.
Mr Turkeltaub intends to use his experience in international marketing, developing joint
ventures, negotiating and business development to achieve NTT’s business objectives.
CFO - Tim Isaacs, ACA, BSc (Econ)
Prior to joining the Company, Mr Isaacs was an Investment Director of Prospect Investment
Management Limited, a Rothschild /Weinstock venture capital investment company. He
previously worked as a fund manager at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers and held
Finance Director positions at Thales Telematics Plc and Connect Communications Ltd
between 1994 and 1999. Mr Isaacs is a Chartered Accountant having trained with Arthur
Andersen & Co. between 1989 and 1994. In addition, Mr Isaacs has an Honours degree
from the London School of Economics.
