Ethosome Delivery System

NTT's core skin permeation technology was developed by Prof. Elka Touitou from the Faculty of Medicine, Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel. The Ethosome Delivery System is a patented breakthrough technology for passive non-invasive transdermal and dermal delivery.

The Ethosomal transdermal delivery provides a wide range of drug candidates with the benefit of:

Ethosomal systems were found to be highly superior at delivering drugs through the skin in terms of quantity and depth when compared to liposomes or other existing commercial transdermal/dermal delivery systems. Studies of skin permeation in vitro and in vivo in animals (pharmacokinetic and/or CLSM organ distribution measurements) and human clinical studies showed that Ethosomes are highly superior to other transdermal delivery systems.
