Chairman of the Board – Rusi Kathoke


Mr. Kathoke is a Chartered Accountant, and was Chief Financial Officer of BTG PLC between 1986 and 2005. British Technology Group (BTG), which is listed on the London Stock Exchange, acquires rights to early stage pharmaceuticals and other medical technologies, and develops them through to commercialization. Mr. Kathoke was responsible for negotiating BTG’s MBO in 1992, for managing its subsequent listing on the London Stock Exchange in 1995, demerging and listing its subsidiary in 1998 and raising further funds from institutional investors.


Founder – President & Business Affairs Director - Yitzhak (Zachi) Turkeltaub, MBA
 

Zachi  Turkeltaub is the President and the co-founder of NTT. He had served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors since 2003, only recently stepping down in favor of the current Chairman. Mr. Turkeltaub has been involved in the Biotech arena for more than a decade and has served in senior executive positions in a verity of public traded and private companies. He served as CEO ,Chairman, executive and non executive board member, and Senior VP of business affairs to name a few.

Mr. Turkeltaub advises leading global corporations in allocation of innovative technologies and focuses his business development experience to facilitate strategic partnering Joint Ventures.

He was involved in public flotation within Israel and abroad, M&A deals and licensing /partnering transactions. Zachi Turkeltaub has an MBA in international marketing from Harvard Business School. He intends to use his experience in business development and international marketing, in developing joint ventures, negotiations to achieve NTT’s business objectives.

 
Founder – CEO –  Dan Touitou, B.Pharm, MBA


Dan Touitou founded NTT in January 2003 with Mr. Zachi Turkeltaub. Between 1997 and 2003 Mr. Touitou served as Assistant Director General in Eden Group, where he was responsible for strategic planning and R&D for new products from conception to marketing. During 1998-2002, Mr. Touitou was responsible for the introduction of 15 innovative Over-the Counter Consumer Health Care products to the Israeli market, which gained over a 30% share in their respective markets. He was involved in forming joint operations between Eden Group and the pharmaceutical conglomerate Agis. Between 1994 and 1997, Mr. Touitou served as corporate Marketing Manager at Homegalile laboratories. Dan also served as CEO in Askarit – a consumer health care product company. He has extensive experience in international negotiations, contract manufacturing, outsourcing, marketing, import, brand-building, and regulatory affairs.

 
 
Chief Financial Officer – Hilda Karev, CPA, MA Marketing
 

Hilda Karev recently joined NTT as the chief financial officer for the company. Ms. Karev has worked in the US and internationally with Regional and Global firms for the past 20 years. Between 1986-1990, Ms. Karev was the CEO of JS&A Associates, a software Development company that is a leader in Energy Software applications. As a US CPA, she brings the International business and tax prospective to the team. Having lived in North America and Asia for many years, Ms. Karev has the unique experience from the corporate and consumer perspective.

Professor Touitou is a researcher at the Hebrew University’s School of Pharmacy and has achieved worldwide recognition for her work in the field of transdermal delivery. Professor Touitou has published over 100 scientific papers, reviews and books in the field of drug delivery - mainly on the subject of transdermal delivery. Professor Touitou is the inventor of technologies that have resulted in over twenty patents. She has accumulated more than 30 years of research experience. Her research interests include: topical and transdermal drug delivery: drug penetration through the skin, the mechanism and effects of various vehicles on the course and extent of percutaneous absorption; design of novel carriers for transdermal and topical administration; and enhanced delivery of drugs through biological membranes. Professor Touitou is the 2008 recipient of the Kaye
Innovation Awards from the Hebrew University Board of Governors.  

 

Dr. Magdy Adbel-Malik (President of Quaestio Global Partners)
 

Dr. Adbel-Malik has over 30 years experience as a Business Development Executive. Prior to becoming NTT's Strategic Alliance Senior Advisor, Dr. Abdel-Malik served as the Director of Global External Opportunities at Pfizer Consumer Healthcare, achieving a $4B market growth for Pfizer in the Consumer Health market. He has developed an extensive global network related to the Consumer Health Industry. He has also fast tracked 7 new products in 2 years under the Quanterra brand. Magdy is an innovative business development executive with R&D experience and the strategic vision needed to source, evaluate, and commercialize best-in-class emerging technologies. He is currently assisting corporate clients in the Consumer Healthcare and Cosmetics industries, as well as start-up technology companies with establishing and implementation of Open Innovation business model and creating mutually beneficial strategic partnerships. He is the author and co-author of over 10 patents and patent applications; written and published extensively over 20 articles; and has been a presenter or speaker in many Scientific Conferences. 

 

 
Gil Bianco, CPA
 

Mr Bianco has over 20 years of executive management experience. Before joining NTT, Mr. Bianco served as the CEO for Agis Industries from 2001 to 2003. Throughout his employment with Agis (in various decision making positions), Mr. Bianco actively participated in transforming Agis Industries Ltd. from a local import enterprise with $15 million turnover to an internationally known pharmaceutical company with a turnover of about $290 million, including ownership of six factories. In 1992, Mr. Bianco helped lead the IPO of Agis Industries on the Tel-Aviv Stock Exchange. In 1994 he played an active part in the acquisition of Agis by the US based Clay-Park Labs Inc. and was appointed to Clay-Park's Board of Directors.


Dr. Stephan Cherkez
 

Holding a Doctorate in Chemistry and being a certified Patent Attorney, Dr Cherkez has worked in the Chemical and Pharmaceutical Industry for over 46 years. Before joining NTT, Dr. Cherkez worked for 20 years with the Agis group (now known as Perrigo, Israel) specializing in the production of bulk pharmaceutical chemicals. As VP for Business Development and VP Intellectual Property, Dr. Cherkez was the founder and first president of Chemagis, Ltd. Prior to that he also worked for Teva Group as Manager of Chemical Research, Product development and Intellectual Property. Furthermore, he is the author and co-author of over 30 patents as well as having  written and published extensively over the past 30 years. Awarded the Chorev Prize for Excellence in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Drug Development, Dr. Cherkez's vast experience in the area of Intellectual Property and Product Development has been instrumental to the development of NTT.

 
 
Dr. Natan Bar Chama MD (The Mount Sinai Hospital, New York, NY)
 

Dr. Bar-Chama is the Director of Male Reproductive Medicine and Surgery, and an Associate Professor in the Departments of Urology, Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at The Mount Sinai School of Medicine New York, NY. His research (over 3 million dollars in grants) and publications have focused on male infertility and erectile dysfunction. In 1999 he was awarded the Pfizer Scholar in Urology Award and since 2005 was listed yearly as one of the "Best Doctors in New York" by New York Magazine. He is currently on the Board of Directors for The Society for Male Reproduction and Urology (SMRU), of the American Urological Association (AUA) (to be president in 2012), The Society of Male Reproductive Urology (SMRU) of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and The American Fertility Association.
